The goby fish (in venetian “gò”) is a particular kind of fish who lives mainly in lagoon areas or where the seabed is very muddy: in the past it was as used as a commodity exchange, while today it appears in some Venetian recipes, in particular the “Risotto di gò“.

Linocut printed with a vertical press on 200 gr. Rismacqua Favini ivory paper using chalcographic ink.
